The StraitsX platform does not support bridged versions of XSGD.
What are bridged tokens?
Bridged tokens, also known as cross-chain tokens, are digital assets that enable the transfer of value between different blockchain networks. They act as a bridge, facilitating interoperability by allowing users to move tokens from one blockchain to another. This is essential because blockchains are not always compatible, and bridges create derivatives or copies of assets that can be used on other chains.
How do I know whether I have a bridged version of XSGD?
At present, contract addresses of bridged version of XSGD that we are aware of include:
- 0x769434dcA303597C8fc4997Bf3DAB233e961Eda2 (Polygon) and
- 0xa05245Ade25cC1063EE50Cf7c083B4524c1C4302 (Arbitrum)
These are not supported by StraitsX. Users will need to “unbridge” XSGD (Bridged) back to XSGD (ERC-20) to off-ramp back to Singapore dollars on the StraitsX platform.
What do I need to do if I accidentally send a bridged token to my StraitsX account?
Depending on the amount, type of token and complexity of the case, we can make an assessment whether there is a possibility of recovering your tokens. Fees and limitations apply.
