Adding a Bank Account

You can add multiple bank accounts in your StraitsX account settings. The registered name on your StraitsX account must match the name on the linked bank account.

Supported Banks

StraitsX supports USD transfers to and from banks worldwide via the SWIFT network.

• Deposits (Transfer In): Must be made via SWIFT from your personal bank account.

• Withdrawals (Transfer Out): Can be processed to any linked and verified bank account.

Important Notes

• Transfers from Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) are not accepted. This includes services such as Wise, GrabPay, Razer, LiquidPay, Matchmove, and Singtel Dash.

• Deposits through NBFIs often show the third-party platform’s name instead of the actual sender, which can cause delays, rejections, or refunds (with possible processing fees).

• To avoid issues:

  • Always transfer from a bank account under your legal name.

  • Avoid payment intermediaries or wallet apps.
