In certain decentralized exchanges (DEXes) such as Uniswap, Paraswap, 1inch and Zilswap, it is possible to deposit funds straight to a StraitsX address directly from the DEX’s platform.
However, this type of transfer is not supported by StraitsX as the sending wallet address does not belong to you, but is owned by the DEX instead. Furthermore, StraitsX does not allow to whitelist non-custodial addresses that are owned by another party.
As a result, if you have performed a transaction from a DEX’s non-custodial address to your StraitsX account the transfer will be stuck in ‘Pending’ status.
Here are some examples of DEXes’ non-custodial wallet addresses that do not support funds transfer in to StraitsX (note that this is a non-exhaustive list):
- Uniswap
- Paraswap
- 1inch
- Zilswap
Although this may cause inconvenience, but it is necessary for StraitsX to maintain the required compliance standards and ensure the safety of our users' funds.
To avoid any issues, we highly recommend that you only deposit funds to your StraitsX account from wallets that you fully control. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.
